The Wednesday official trailerfor the upcoming Addams Family adaptation on Netflix was released on Wednesday, and much like any long-awaited family reunion, there are a lot of new people to meet and a few familiar faces that look a bit different since the last time we saw them.
The Addams Family spin-off series starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, the Addams Family's teenage daughter, is directed by Tim Burton and stars Jenna Ortega.
The Addams Family's teenage daughter is sent to Nevermore Academy after a horrific incident involving piranhas, which was revealed in the show's teaser.
Wednesday, in her trademark sarcastic tone, comments on her new residence after a string of strange events, one of which involved an attempted murder, saying, “There’s just something wrong about this place, not just because it’s a school.”

The action-packed teaser introduces viewers to the wacky world they will be immersed in when the series premieres the next month. The trailer shows Wednesday and Uncle Fester engaged in a tense confrontation, and then the two of them ride off together.
Finally, Ortega's Wednesday breaches the fourth wall by remarking, “I know the suspense is killing you,” before a closing sequence reveals Christina Ricci's welcome return to the franchise.
Ricci previously portrayed Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family films that were released in the 1990s. Given the character's positive outlook on lifeand willingness to help others, it would appear that her role as Marilyn Thornhill is quite a departure from Wednesday, at least based on first impressions.
In the eight episodes of the drama, Wednesday tries to master her emerging psychic ability, stop a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago, all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore. Wednesday also tries to prevent a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town.
